This is a 3D recreation I did of the Original PS Artwork by Pixel Morph. Created Using 3DsMax. Rendered in Default Scanline.This asset is fully animatable. It uses a biped rig, and cloth deformation is done by default 3ds Max hair system (cloth fx). Hair and fur are done by 3ds Max's default hair and fur system (shave and a haircut). I have recently converted the whole setup to mental ray to add some animated renderings to my demo reel. At that stage, I have switched to mental ray primitives to render hair and fur in mental ray. As the hair and fur shader, I have used puppet hair shader. you can watch this mental ray converted asset in my demo reel; from here. I was able to win a CG society editors choice award for this piece.
